Roman Vuerich
Roman (from Italy) earned an MSc in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology (University of Bologna) and a PhD in Molecular Biomedicine (University of Trieste/ICGEB). At the Institute for Vascular Signalling, he is investigating intercellular crosstalk (with a focus on endothelial cells and pericytes) and the role of lactate in regulating metabolism and epigenetic alterations after tissue injury.
