The 1st Gordon Research Conference on Microproteins brought together leading researchers from around the world to discuss the latest advances in ribosome profiling, proteomics, immunopeptidomics, and the emerging roles of microproteins in health and disease.

Our group was represented at the meeting by Mauro Siragusa, together with his PhD students Beyza Güven and Manav Raheja, who shared their work on the functional characterization of endothelial cell microproteins.

We are especially proud to announce that Manav was awarded one of only two poster prizes at the conference – a fantastic recognition of his contributions and hard work.

Congratulations to Manav on this achievement, and to the team for their excellent representation of our institute! 🎉
